Overview
The Rare Breed FRT-15 trigger is a unique fire control group that operates on a forced-reset principle. Unlike a binary trigger, it doesn’t fire on both the pull and release. Instead, its internal mechanism physically pushes the trigger forward to the reset position after each shot, as long as you maintain rearward pressure on the trigger. This allows for a very rapid rate of fire while maintaining a semblance of single-shot control. It’s a complete, self-contained unit that replaces your standard AR-15 trigger and hammer.
Key Features
- Forced-Reset Function: The mechanism actively resets the trigger, enabling faster follow-up shots than a standard semi-auto trigger.
- Controlled Fire: Requires a deliberate pull, release, and repull for each shot cycle, promoting muzzle control.
- Drop-In Design: Installs directly into a mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver using the existing pins.
- Robust Construction: Built from machined steel and alloys for durability under rapid fire conditions.
- Distinct Shooting Experience: Provides a unique, fast-paced shooting dynamic different from standard or binary triggers.
